I have taken the fuel filter out and keep the gas to look at, the gas shows a brown color after blowing air in both directions. It was a yellow color when i removed the fitting and it started to drain, as it sure be. The filter had some resistance both directions but were real close to the same from either end.
I was going to drain the gas tank by removing the line from the FPR and letting it pump in a gas can tell empty. I got side tracked to check the Part# on the FPR on see if it had been changed. The # 255 or the last 3 digits and a 2.5 bar. The nut is on so tight i had to remove the allen bolts to get it off. NOW I have a hand held vac. pump that goes to 25in vac. I hooked it up to the vac. side of the FPR to see if it would move the plunger inside. I didnt see any movement. I held vac. without a leakdown. I guess thats not a good check for it. P.S. I drained the tank when i first got the car to get rid of the old gas by removing the return line from the FPR with the car running, the gas would simulate a water drinking fountain out of the hose to the can. Can i check a Quanity of fuel flow this way?????
Next to the Tank.
88 9kt. Thanks for the help.
