I haven't driven an Aero manual or Auto so can't make a comparison with my non turbo CS manual.
Whilst CS manual does not accellerate fast at slow speeds I am never left behind in traffic. The car is under far less stress than a turbo and engine mounts, gearbox, drive shafts etc are likely to be in better condition than in a turbo car. Fuel economy is better with a manual so I guess if you are not looking for sheer performance the CS manual may be the cheaper car to maintain and run.
