It's not the right way to do it but you do whatever feels good for you.
It's no harm in loosening one bolt and torque it up again. The other 9 holds ample clamp force on the gasket while doing this.
I also recommend to replace the bolts not just retorquing them, but that is just me trying to minimize future problems.
If you decide to keep the old bolts you should loosen one and torque it to 60Nm (44lbf-ft). After you have gone over all 10 bolts you should angle torque them to 90 degree.
But this is only my suggestion.
