If you remove the old bolts and measure the length against a new one, you might use that as a guideline as to whether it's advisable to replace them or possibly reuse them. The 90 degree final tightening is supposed to stretch the bolts beyond their elastic limit on torque to yield types, and if you reuse them, there may be problems.
The torque to yield provides more even tension on the head because it relies on the fixed thread pitch of the bolts to stretch the bolts a measured amount, rather than the older methods of torque only, which may vary greatly depending on the condition of the threads, corrosion, or any other friction altering conditions. The drawback is that they're generally considered one time use.
If you're not currently having any problems, I wouldn't loosen them up unless you plan to replace them or at least check the length vs new before reusing them. It'd probably be okay to at least check torque against some value (more than 60 ft-lbs though) to see if any are actually loose. It would be nice if someone doing the 90 degree final tightening is able to put a torque wrench on it also to know what torque it typically goes to, to get a ballpark number.
