Could Driving with Failed Thermostat Cause 7-Flash CEL?

'93 Aero five speed, 148k miles. Just about everything's been redone on this car in the last year and a half, INCLUDING new 82-degree thermostat and 82-degree thermofan switch.

I think my 82-degree thermostat is bad. Car's temp NEVER gets much above the blue, even on 60-degree Atlanta weather. I know that's wrong; car used to run closer to 10 o'clock on temp guage (on the same thermostat).

So I got the CEL 7-flasher, which is "Air-Fuel Mixture/Ratio." Could that be caused because the engine is not running at normal temperature? This condition has existed for the last month or so, so I'm wondering if eventually the computer finally raises an issue.

I cannot find any vaccuum leaks anywhere (although I can't check the charcoal canister at the moment -- no jack or jack stands).

Also, seemingly in conjuntion with the thermostat problem, it seems my radiator may be developing a leak on the left-hand side, where the plastic tank meets up with the radiator body (side with the upper radiator hose).
-- Could this be related?
-- If I need to buy a new radiator, is the eEuro one okay (I noticed it's not a Blackstone, which is the OEM original in my car)?

Thanks for any help! This board has saved my rear too many times to count.
