Unless you're spending a LOT of time on the racetrack, most major brands of DOT4 will work just fine. JEM's discourse is spot on. High boiling temperatures may come into play if you're running on a race track, where every 35 seconds or so you are nailing the brakes for all you are worth and scrubbing off major speed. 5 or ten such stops are no big deal, but do it lap on end, and it could be an issue. In normal, heck, even excessive street driving - not an issue.
I use Castrol, but that's just habit. I don't believe that it is better than Valvoline or other name brands. I would avoid off-brand stuff. There is an advantage of alternating between brake fluid colors (like light brown Castrol to Super Blue to Castrol) - when bleeding the system, you know when the 'new' fluid comes through.
The real key to brake fluid is to throw it away often. If you flush the brakes every two years, any decent DOT4 will work just fine. Is it possible that you could stretch that to three years with some Super Duper stuff? Maybe. But I wouldn't bet my brakes on it.
