I think TCS gremlins seem to have a good record of being fixable, but it's a pain to take the thing to a Saab mechanic to have codes read every time you develop trouble.
Another area of potential concern in 93s is the timing (or rather, balance shaft) chain, wherein a soft metal sprocket can cause the whole thing to go kablooie.
These factors aren't deal-killers in my opinion if the price is right. But if you're thinking of spending anything more than a couple of thousand, it pays to verify that these areas have been addressed, or plan to address them yourself ($$$???).
