tilt mechanism not that great ...

It uses wing nuts to adjust the tilt, and only tilts along the axis parallel to the scissors.
But with the casters on the bottom, it was cake to get the transmission around to where I needed it. It also jacked up high enough so that the platform was level with the lip of the trunk of my OTHER 9k--real easy transfer for the busted tranny to go back to Eriksson's for the core refund :)
Yeah, an air rachet would be nice to raise/lower, but I used an extension on my regular 1/2" drive rachet, which worked just fine. It just took longer.
