Well, you could pull them out and measure their flow-rate. But if they were flowing too high, then you'd be running rich and it would show on your plugs and in your crankcase, probably. However, if the EDU is overstating the actual gas mileage, then it can mean only one of two things: the time the injectors are on is too little, which would lead to a lean condition, or the speed signal is too high. Are you absolutely certain of the actual average gas mileage? Have you changed the size of the tires? Perhaps your odometer is understating the amount of miles per tank? Have you measure your speedometer with a GPS, or calibrated the odometer with a known marked mile? AFAIK, there's no way of recalibrating the EDU, regarding instantaneous and average mpg. I once asked Dr. Boost about this when I changed to larger injectors and had the same problem of an overstated instantaneous and avg. mpg. His reply was that it was something that couldn't be changed with an ISAT or TechII and the only way to fix it he couldn't divulge!
