never have this problem again. No need to coat the threads, simply paint a stripe down one side of the lug and install. The treads will distribute the paste.
I have had people tell me that this isn't appropriate because the specified torque is supposed to be a "dry" torque. Never cracked a rim, never warped a rotor, never broke a lug. I have been doing this for 15 years and never have problems removing lugs, nor have I ever had them come loose on thier own.
