The speakers are mounted to a metal frame which is secured from the underside of the grills.
-- Pull away the trunk liner (should be able to muscle it out of the way without disassembling floor, etc.).
-- You'll see that there are six or eight little nuts that secure the assembly in place.
-- As you remove these nuts, be sure to position your free hand beneath them -- you drop them, you lose them. This is ESPECIALLY important with the forward- and outboard-most ones -- it's really a tight and tough reach to them (get ready for some scraped knuckles).
-- Once the assembly is removed, unbolt the speakers from the frame, replace with new, and reverse this procedure to install.
By the way, the rear speakers are 6" x 9" on the '93 Aero. I have the same car and have done this replacement.
Good luck!
