I just did this on my other car which requires 340lbft. Get a 3/4 drive breaker bar and a 4ft length of steel pipe that slides over the breaker bar. Torque = distance x force. I weigh 170lbs so if I put all my weight 2ft away from the nut, I'm applying 340 lbft. I'm not sure, but I would imagine that exceeding the torque spec is not a problem. I would use new fasterners for a job like this.
Or find a friendly place to rent or borrow a larger torque wrench.
