Strange problem going on with my acc.. first of all, the cabin sensor I have in there is from an 88 9000, which I swapped in because my old one was being extremely noisy. It was a direct swap, and this was also several years ago, so I know this is not the cause of my problem.

I was beginning to believe this sensor had failed, because my car wouldn't automatically maintain any temperature I set the ACC computer to. Set it anywhere to 72 or more, and it blasts hot air. Set it anywhere below that, and it just blasts cold air. That was the first problem. Then, it started really misbehaving. I can turn the car on, and want cold air, but the car will give me only hot air. Sometimes, I only want hot air and the car will only give me cold air. Sometimes, it will work just fine, and then I turn the ACC off, and then back on, and it will be broken again. On top of all this, sometimes it won't switch the vents correctly. I can set it to floor, or vent, or any number of settings, but it won't respond to anything. Sometimes it will, sometimes it won't. It's a very intermittent problem. Anyone have any experiences like this?
