Uneven brake wear would be a relief

This is a case of one brake totally not engaging, forcing and uncontrollable and dangerous dive to the left. I didn't think to inspect comparative wear, prusuming the old RF caliper was stuck 'open'. The replacement caliper should eliminate that as the culprit. So now it comes down to hydraulics, I guess. Occasionally, the RF caliper is not getting the force of the fluid.
Note: ABS light and brake fluid light go off after start-up, so I presume that is okay.
Could it be a bad port in the brake master cylinder?
