Hello Shawn,
The easiest way to do this is to just run new wires to all four speakers. I have installed systems in two '94s and a '96 (CS). Here are my thoughts.
In the two '94s, the wires for the front two speakers connect to the same plug that the power and ground wires connect to. You will need to run new wires directly from the new head unit's amplified output to the rear speakers. It's pretty easy; you can just pull up the sills and run the wires. There are good-sized holes in the right and left corners of the trunk partition that you can run speaker wires through.
In the '96, the head unit sends a pre-amplified signal to the amp under the passenger's seat. You have two options. The best option is to run new wires from the four amplified outputs on your new deck to the car's speakers. The other option only works if your new head unit has two sets of preamp outputs. If it does, you can cut up a pair of RCA cables and splice them into the wires that go to the amplified under the passenger's seat. The preamplified signal wires are easy to identify by their size (they're tiny).
I haven't seen an HK system up close, so I can't comment on the "10 speakers." Standard speaker sizes for the 93+ 9K are 4" components in the dash and 6" x 9" components on the rear. I don't know of anyone who makes 6" x 9" components, but any of the better 6X9s should sound pretty good.
Of course, if you're going to do all this work, you might as well just do it right and buy an external amp and hook the whole thing up that way. I can help you out with that if you have questions.
David
