My old tranny used "dino oil", but the new one uses synthetic. I was concerned that if Brian used synthetic, it would slip right past the old seals and leak badly. My mechanic doesn't think the oil can go bad because there's nothing to contaminate it and Saab seems to think that it's there for the life of the tranny.
