on my 94 cde. In the course of a week and a half, I removed and installed the blower motor and housing three times. I became so good I can do it in 30 minutes, removal and install. But I did it without disconnecting the heater hoses. It is tougher because there is less room with the heater hoses in the way. But also saves time because I didn't have to install them. I was trouble shooting the blower motor. My heater core was good.
I loosened the screws on the evaporator housing so I moved it as far to the passenger side as possible. Not much. But every little bit helps.
I also removed the panel on the driver side of the false bulkhead panel. This helps a lot as the sheet metal screw connection for the false bulkhead panel on the driver side sticks out and it is in the way of the blower motor housing removal and installation.
Guess by now you know only two snap locks hold the blower motor housing to the seats.
