I found the front engine mount has split and lost all fluid following drivetrain removal of the 94 cs turbo.

Installed the drivetrain inspite of the bad front engine mount. Ordered the original fluid filled mount rather than the solid one. I felt better with original equipment.

Everything is installed except I left all three bottom mounts and the top mount loose. The passenger side wheel arch is also undone. The cracked bad mount is sitting under the engine weight. I also did not fill either coolant or engine oil. My plan is to jack the engine up from two location when the new mount arrives.

1) fromt somewhere under the front engine mount bracket to raise the engine,
2) from under the passenger side control arm to prevent the passenger side driveshaft from coming off when that side of the engine engine is raised to remove the front mount.

Do I have to disconnect the rubber hose from the water pump discharge? I hope by jacking from these two points will give me enough clearance to remove the bad front mount to install new.
