I'm not disagreeing with DickT or Ray--they both make sense.
Master cylinder is always a good place to start with clutch problems because it's easy to get to and fairly inexpensive (part-wise and labor-wise).
More likely to me, however, is two other things.
#1--Fluid is old and gunky. When's the last time it was changed? Some folks here recommend changing it completely every two years. I know I'd rather buy more fluid than buy another clutch.
#2--Master to slave clutch hose. This seems the most likely to me, simply because it is the only part of the clutch system that would accept excess pressure. There have also been reports of the rubber part degrading and blocking fluid from flowing to where it should.
I'd start with cleaning the reservoir cap, bleeding totally new fluid through the system. If that doesn't work, remove the center part of the clutch hose (is it still that way in '95?), take it to a hydraulic shop and have them make you a new one. Then I'd go the MC route.
Good luck--let us know what you find out.
