Alright, I can shift manually, that shouldn't be too bad, probably better for the transmission in a way, that way its not getting lots of torque without downshifting. how hard is the kdw to replace? I have the auto transmission manual, looks like you have to take the cover off the top of the tranny, and then remove the valve body to get to the kickdown wire where it hooks on the throttle cam? Should I let someone else do that? I've done engine swaps, tranny swaps, things of that nature, think I can tackle the kdw with no problems? And, should I replace that gasket for the top cover, or is it reusable? I think I may do the governor seals anyway, since it doesn't seem that hard and probably wouldn't hurt, along with a fluid change. Where should I get the seals? TIA, and thanks for reading all of that, hahahah
