...sounds that you hear with those 3 and 4 way speakers (Sony's are especially bad). What I would do is try using the factory EQ and set it to ROCK which tends to be a bit deeper. Another thing you might want to try is adjusting the crossover on your speakers (if you've got components you usually can do this)....adjust the crossover till you only hear the lower frequencies.
Again, best way to achieve the most desired sound is with 100% aftermarket stuff.
