Fix for 7-Flash, Adaptation/Air-Fuel Mixture CEL Error?

Okay, so a few days ago I had LHM hit for the first time ever (see previous post). Went to my Indie today, who pulled the error codes, cleared them. Car's been running fine.
That said, he indicated he found TWO error codes (I had 5 flashes): Pedal Position Sensor, which typically will trigger when the car goes into LHM, and also a code indicating a problem with the O2 sensor.
A few hours after he'd cleared the codes, I got the CEL again, but now 7 flashes, which is for "Adaptation" or "Air-Fuel Mixture." I've replaced the intake air temp sensor fairly recently, and all the vaccuum lines were replaced with silicone ones not all that long ago. Far as I know, the O2 sensor is original to the car, a '93 Aero with 156k miles.
So, do you guys think the O2 sensor is the culprit?
What does the "Adaptation" or "Fuel-Air Mixture" error MEAN?
Thanks! Looks like my car's decided to act up on me yet again.
