Already tried Cleaning it Bill, But no improvement.
Good point about not knowing whether it's original or not. I have voluminous service records for the car, though, and it does not come up in any of them. I could be wrong, of course, but comparitively seems to be an issue at about my car's age/mileage. Also, the fuel pump is a big enough expense that I think it would have made it into my car's Dossier, since the previous two owners were meticulous and even gifted me with some oil change records from the first owner and the sales adverts from the second purchase.
In any event, is the Airtex fuel pump assembly worth a flip? I'd like to have some feedback from someone who has ordered one, to know if it is an all inclusive assembly or if it's just part of it. 140 feels really inexpensive, but then again, my saab was priced to good to be true...and has done wonderfully.
