Brake job from hell - frozen rotor screw

My simple brake job has become a nightmare. The torx screw holding the rotor on quickly stripped, even with a Craftsman bit. I used Liquid Wrench, and then I tried to a slot for a flat head screwdriver bit in my impact wrench (the kind you hammer). But the screwdriver bit was too small - the stripped torx hole was just too wide. Tried the biggest screwdriver at Home Depot. Then I tried an easy-out screw extractor. Yep, it broke off inside. Any suggestions? Drill bit doesn't do a thing on that extractor.
Warning to DIYers! When it goes bad, it's really bad. I've probably spent 5 hours on one fastener, with two trips to stores, and I'm worse off than when I started.
