So if its really cold, I'll start it and let it run while I get dressed or whatever until its warm. Or if its snowy out, I let it run and defrost while I clear it off and shovel a bit. I know thats not the greatest for it, but I don't like a cold ass! (Leave the seat heater on.)
If its not too cold out, I'll start it as I'm leaving the house, or work, or whereever. Just to let it warm up for a few minutes.
The most important issue is to drive it GENTLY! Until the gauge hops off the blue, I don't let it boost into the red, or let it shift at a high RPM.
