Year? Model? Engine type? Tranny? The engine itself stops pretty quickly. In a turbo car, the turbo will keep spinning for quite a while. But from your description, whatever it is, it's turning pretty slow. The turbo is still probably at a few thousand rpm, and will take a while to spin down to the couple of hundred rpm you describe (200 rpm is about 3.3 rev per second). And if the turbo blades are hitting something to make that sound, they'd make a racket at speed. For a short time, before crunching.
In DI-equipped cars, there is a burn-off buzz after shutdown. But that sounds like a continuous, low buzz for about 2-3 seconds.
All I can guess is either the radiator fan, or the A/C compressor fan. One of those may be be experiencing a blade rub. The A/C compressor fan is mounted on the front of the radiator, and can be hard to see - you need to look in through the front of the grill, right about where the A/C compressor is.
If you wanted to test this for the AC fan, make sure the A/C is off - by keeping it OFF in a manual climate control car, or hitting ECON in an ACC-equipped car. Make sure the car has been stationary for a half-minute or so, because a moving car has airflow that will spin the fan. Then shut it off. Obviously, the best way is to have an assistant shut the car off while you have the hood open.
You could always pull the radiator fan relay or fuse and try the same thing to check that out.
With ACC equipped cars, there is a small fan in the cabin air sensor - the little 'bulls-eye' in the dash. Depending on year, that keeps spinning for five minutes after the car is shut down.
