Hi JP,
As long as you are determined to tear the car down and do alot of
work on it anyways, I will only say that I am glad to hear that
there are folks who are helping to keep as many 9Ks on the road as
possible !!!
(I worry about that future day when there are no more to be had, a
very sad day IMO.)
Anyways, that's one less that gets scrapped, a good thing.
I had 2 TCS cars and also a '94 Aero w/o TCS.
The '94 was just about the most perfect car imaginable until I met
up with a couple of moose one night...
The absence of TCS and ETS are VERY good things - and if there is a
way by which you can get the car to be more like a '94, I would
strongly recommend it.
(Remember that you must also shed the throttle body in this process,
somehow...)
My current ride is a '91 9KT, and it is also a great car.
I consider '92 and '93 to simply be nightmarish MYs, and having
owned some of each I speak from experience honestly acquired !!
(Does your junker have a good A/C condenser you'd like to
part with ?)
Best Wishes,
mark
