Your key is worn out. Hold it so you are looking at it as if you were going to stab yourself in the eye with it (but don't stab!). You will probably see that the tip of the key is worn to a sharp blade, which it shouldn't be. These sidewinder type keys may not look worn, but they do wear out, I have to cut new ones all the time. The company I work for here in San Diego has a Silca Triax machine which will decode worn keys to factory specifications, then cut a brand new one. So if you can find a locksmith in your town who has this machine, or has the ability to cut one of these keys from code, it shouldn't be a problem. The code is stamped on all the locks on the Saabs, so if you DO have to get the actual code, it is not a big deal, just pull a door handle and remove the lock.
