HELP,crazy idle in a.m. only

Car is a '95 aero 5spd. w/ 179,000 miles. A problem started over the summer, whenever I would go through a car wash the car would begin to misfire and the idle would go from almost a stall to 2000+rpm.
Only way to fix is to hold the gas down and make the engine clean itself out, check engine light came on ,fault code was in regards to the 02 sensor?.
Now the car is doing the same thing everymorning, when I first start it it's perfect for about 2 minutes then the idle goes up and down to almost stalling and the car is almost undrivable, sounds like a machine gun under the hood if I try to force the accelerator, backfiring and misfiring. After a few minutes it's fine but idle is a bit erratic. AIC cleaned, new fuel pump, new d.i cassette, vacuum lines checked.
thanks for any help!!!!
