I know this is not the place to be telling this, and I love SAABs and my 9000 especially, I care for it like for a sick child... But my mechanic told me about SAAB that he is under impression that a bunch of guys (engineers) saw a car, most likely Volvo, and they said: "let's make a transportation device with 4 wheels and a steering wheel" and that's how he thinks it all started. He says that all SAAB systems, were designed from the ground up. He says SAAB electrical system problems are mind twisting, that placing engine and trannie like that is only by SAAB. He couldn't trace were the vacuum line going into aquarium goes after taking 1/2 of the dash board apart- and coulnd't find any diagram that shows where it goes. And he also told me 9000 is a good car he saw with around 300,000 miles, but it is made by Trolls and that it is quirky mechanical experience vehicle.
I live in San Jose, CA and my mechanic is in San Francisco.
Do you really think I should have the fuel pressure regulator replaced?
What else can be causing my misfortunes? What should I be paying attention to at 100,000 miles Turbo stick (no traction control)?
