BTW, my 2nd car, that my wife drives now is 2000 A6 twin turbo stick. My mechanic that critisises SAAB says A6 is traditional. Except for $1000+ to replace clutch. But it is a straight forward design car except for the turbos part, and funeral lenght and grief procedure to replace timing belt. I love the A6 except for the HORRIBLE UNDERSTEER on almost new 215/55/16 tires - I still don't know how to drive Quattro right, but man that sucky servtronic steering chip is HORRIBLE. My A6 has the sport package but I guess that only overs sports seats, and doulbe spoke wheels. I guess I should go to an Audi forum to find out why my 9000 would outhandle my A6 2.7T every day of the week and twice on Sunday.
I'm curious to know how your 9000 compares to A4. Thanks for all the advice Bill!
