The best thing I've found for stubborn torx screws like that is a 1/2" makita variable speed reversible drill with NAPA torx bits. It can apply a lot of torque quickly and is like an impact wrench for the smaller stuff. It works much better than the impact drivers you whack with a hammer. I got out transmission torx screws that had snapped expensive s-k 3/8 drive torx bits.
On yours I realize the head is somewhat stripped and it's down in there a ways, but you might be able to rig an extension. If you can get it set up and put your weight on the drill when you blip the trigger you might get it.
If it wouldn't come out that way, you might try to open up the crimp on the connector, put the wire in and recrimp it.
Good luck! I'm inspired by the work you put into your 9ks. I have two on the road and one for parts.
