a couple of things I've done that worked but can't tell if you can get in there from the pictures.
1) use a dremel moto tool with a cut off disk. cut a straight blade like slot across the head of the screw. then used a 3/8" driver with an extention and a straight slot.
2) can't tell what is under the screw but if there is enough stuff there then it is causing the screw to stretch and with that force won't turn. So I drill the head off the screw. take the item held off, and the screw should turn off.
