Mike, did you get your VR replaced? Using the haynes manual for pics, and previous posts , i was able to replace my VR on 1995 aero without removing anything but the dipstick bracket. As Ari state's, go at it from the driver side working across and behind the engine. I really got on top of the engine IIRC. Use good tools, so as not to strip anything. On the 1995, 2 wires , then 3-4 screws for cover, then 2 screws for VR. Hardest part for me was realizing the plastic cover has tabs that neeed to be worked prior to removal. When actually removing and replacing the VR, I did that from directly above, leaning over the pass side fender. It can be done , just take your time. Good luck. Tom S.
