Not to sound like a jerk, but I disagree with most of this. However, I do agree that service records can define the value of the vehicle at this point.
As mentioned, '91 9000Ts are desireable because they are good-looking, 2.3L Turbos without TCS. There are many of us who look out for 91's.
A friend just sold his '91 Turbo for $3200. It had 170,000 miles... and was generally in good shape, but not perfect.
Also, with a car at 200,000 -- a lot of the maintenance work could be done. If the tranny's been replaced, and the timing chain / balance shaft issues have been addressed, DI has been replaced, etc... then $1000 would be a bargain.
If you decide not to buy it, please send me info!
