i was lucky in my 93 cse, it came off. i soaked overnight with penetrant, had a friend hold the wrench on the condensor side (most important so it stays stable and doesn't bend when you try to turn hose end off) and then turned the hose end...
It turned.
i then put new one on, took it to an ac place, had them evacuate and recharge. still works fine a year later, but i don't think it's quite as cold as it was when i got the car, but i also don't think the new fan motor blows quite as high as the old fan motor, so i'm not sure what' responsible.
either way, i feel like i have 90-95% of the original cooling power.
not sure why.
