around a corner, have you tried taking corners without pressing in clutch?
have you tried revving engine while pressing in clutch as you take turn?
the old alt on my departed 92 was failing for probably two years, when i drove it from mass to florida, i was worried i wouldn't make it, i couldn't close sunroof, radio went out, then it bounced back to life. it did that a couple times over the next couple years. battery would die, i'd run it off a battery booster pack to the garage to be tested, alt would test fine, and run fine for a few months, then fail again.
i finally had the alternator replaced (before DIY courage), as they refused to admit the voltage reg could be replaced. i then had 'their' new alternator replaced twice under warranty, paid labor for the second one (after 90 days), and then the trans died, so now i have an aftermarket spare alternator with no replaceable voltage reg.
moral of the story, could it possibly be a sticking voltage reg or something?
