I am having a problem with what appears to be old filter material in the central air ducts(in the panel between the driver and passenger seat - directly above the radio) being blown into the passenger compartment of the car. This has been going on for a couple of months and there does not seem to be any end to the amound of material in the duct, which I now have shut when I drive around. I would really like to clean the system out and replace whatever has degraded, but my repair manual doesn't seem to cover this (additional question - if anyone can suggest a good repair manual that would be very helpful). If anyone has experience with this problem or a similar problem I am interested in know what they diagnosed it as and how they resolved it.
