I agree this is a very labor intensive job. You have to remove several items to get to everything. I had this done on a 900 one time and if my memory serves me correct the cost was around $675.00, of course if you feel confident and have the time you may be able to do a lot of the leg work yourself. Since you have already stated that you don’t have the time negotiating with a shop is the only way to go. I would suggest that you approach this like buying a car, shop around and let the mechanics that you’re looking for the highest quality of work for the lowest cost. If they want and need your business, they’ll cut back their charges to a level were they can make money and you get a good deal.
