Martin. When Erikkson sends you the parts they send you detailed current instructions for your transmission. I did the repair and it took approx 2 hours. If you read the intructions you have some idea but after you get the inner fender cover off you need to take the side cover off the transmission. the only tricky part was getting the flange bolt off. I purchased a new 36 mm socket and ground it down on my belt sander to get the full gripping surface of the socket. Look at one and you'll see what I mean. It says not to use air tools but I did use my air wrench to remove it but not put it back on. Also read the bit about heating up the bearing trace up with a hair dryer to assist getting it out unless the transmission is warm. Putting it back in required putting it in the freezer to shrink it to seat it properly.
In my case the problems started suddenly as well. When I dissembled it I found one of the rubber seals to be split and I imagine this is a sudden event.
