Rear Brakes, Caliper Question

Guys, I recently decided to change my rear brake pads as well as the rotors. While working with my cousin on this, we saw that the caliper piston on the driver side was frozen. The car has 117,000 miles on it. I am asking for advice on what I should do:
1. replace both calipers (driver's side and passenger side)
2. replace just driver's side.
Also, what does new caliper's usually cost (price range)?
Do the calipers go bad at 100 k miles? Do they usually last longer? Less?
Lastly, how difficult is it to replace the calipers? Please share your tips, tricks, and traps.
You guys have been great on this board. Thanks for all of your help. Happy New Year!
