Carefully using two flat bladed screwdriver I got the throwout bearing to push back on the slave up against the black plastic piece. I then pushed the clutch in and it went easily to the floor and stayed there. I pulled it back up by hand and it resumed normal operation but the throwout bearing was back to its previous position up against the pressure plate. The bearing itself spins smoothly but might not be in the best condition. Is it just shot? I took a before and after picture. Not sure how to post it here but I have an album at photobucket. /albums/c154/ledzep09/Saab I really apreciate your help. Thanks.
