Just flip it over and undo the multiple (8?) torx screws. Then gently pull up on the plastic while wiggling it (slightly). No surprises, and the only springs are in the boots and should stay there. No loose parts - or if there are, then you've found a problem.
Higher boost levels will require the ignition system to be in perfect shape or ignition miss will occur (see idiotically complex explaination above). So run the plug gap a little on the narrow side, make sure the ceramic is clean (no grease, dirt, etc - wipe with some alcohol), etc.
