Sorry to hear you've had no love from the recommendations so far. At least you can reasonably rule out the plugs, DI cassette and AIC at this point.
Do you think you bent a valve in the process of timing up your engine? If so, that's possibly your culprit. But do check your FPR (search archives for procedure -- I haven't had to do this myself yet), and consider that maybe your 02 sensor is screwy (though I think you said you replaced this in a previous post???) or perhaps your AMM (Air Mass Meter) is on the fritz.
Does the check engine light come on? Have you tried turning the car to the "run" position without starting it, and seeing if the check engine light flashes? If it does, then you can count the flashes as it goes, and this will give you a code or codes to research. Perhaps, if this is the case, you'll get some idea of what area of the engine is affected, and it will help in your diagnosis.
