Bought the set-up with gauge and hose and it fits the connector/valve on the top of the engine The smaller valve/connector has the L on the cover and the hose connector is too large. Not sure if this is using the proper valve so lost a can of expensive freon with the clutch not engaged. I think the theory is that the low pressure side will suck in the fluid when the compressor is running. Not sure if I'm using the right valve or that it won't take freon when the compressor isn't running.
Anybody have any idea which valve is the low pressure one. I have a valve on the end/side of the compressor with L on the cap and The larger one on the hose brocket on the top with a black cap. This is the one the hose fitting works on.
