Sorry I can't find anything in my repair book on the schematic for the A/C. I can try to talk you through this! The switch is just a break in the circuit for two things. It is either open>/_\ or close> \_/. If you have a voltage meter and can unplug the switch then, start the car with A/C on set to the coldest setting. Insert positive lead into the plug and the other to ground (battery) neg. "Your finding the 12v feed". Once you find the live 12v socket, then take a short piece of wire and put one end into the 12v hole and try the other end on the other three. Just "momentarily". One of these will kick the compessor on. When you find this make a reference and turn engine "off" and get ready to charge the system. Get the freon refill in place/ Start engine/ jump wire/ compessor turning/ "FILL".> NOTE< (If you can't find any 12v coming the the plug, then a relay is not working to power the circuit to the switch) On my 87/900t the drier is under the right hand false bluk head. My wires are blue to the compessor. If your switch has four wires, then there should be only two colors. If this is the case, then jump the two same colors. And forget about the 12v test!! This can't do any harm because this is the same thing the switch is doing!!! "WHEW" !!! Good Luck ! I have to fix my A/C also, and its already had a recharge???????
