I had those Ecsta ASX on 2001 9-5 Aero Wagon (225/45/17) and 2003 9-3 Arc (215/55?/16), both manual transmision. Drove them mostly in dry and some wet conditions also took up to snow (Tahoe) a few times. For the price paid I was happy. I had no problems with balance/vibrations/steering/traction on both cars. The only complaint I had is that at about after 10K+miles I could hear slightly increased noise levels. I'm using Yokohama's Avid V4S on 97 9000 Aero with stock wheels. I think they are quiter, should have better tread wear rating, hold the road (also those are not racing tyres) :) A litter more expencieve, will see how the miles go... so far have about 7K on those.
