Untuned,
Hope all's well!
The 1995 CS can be easily updated to full pressure turbo and, although the CS turbocharger is the smallest of the GARRETT T25 family, it has the potential for 230 BHP with an ECU conversion. The ECU update will convert the engine management to employ full APC system (same as used on the CSE or Aero) and will allow for a safe increase in charging pressures. You will need to install the BCV (boost control valve as used by CSE or Aero) and your CS is already wired to accept this component (look for unused two pole elect. connector on rad. support and in front of the turbocharger). Once the ECU and BCV are installed, the 9000 will have the potential for 230 BHP with no need for additional modifications.
Additional engine BHP will require use of a turbocharger upgrade, performance exhaust system, etc. but these same 2.3 liter engines have the potential for 300+ BHP while still being a daily driver.
Good luck and best regards,
GaryK at SWEDISH DYNAMICS,INC.
