when you recalibrate the system does it work correctly? mine does the opposite as yours, it will keep blowing full heat, but once I recalibrate it works fine for a while. I have narrowed it down to the mixed temp sensor internal to the ac system. but I have yet to change it. I have changed the main control panel and the interior temp sensor with no change, all my flaps work etc. confirm your flap is working properly by removing the cover under the hood and watch the control arms move, (when you get heat or turn on the heat does the flap move correctly) if it does then it is most likley the heater core, mine works correctly initially then moves itself to full heat. once I recalibrate it functions properly again. basically you want to confirm the flap opens and shuts with the correct temp selection. if it stays closed/open and does not move then you have a electrical problem (motor or sensor, if it is working then it it probalby in your heater core.
