You lost all the keys and remotes? Posted by turrbo [Email] ![]() ![]() ![]() In Reply to: Lost keys to '96 9000 cse, Chris, Sat, 12 Jan 2008 20:51:19 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
If so, you can call a friendly local dealer and have them cut (or order) a key based on the VIN. You may need to provide proof of ownership.
If you don't want to do that, the only thing you can do is find a parted out 9000 that has all of the lock cylinders and the keys. I know that ebay had some auctions for lock cylinders with keys last time I was perusing 9000 parts. You will need the cylinders for the ignition, front doors, trunk and center console. They usually are sold together, though.
If you lost all the remotes and want the keyless entry/alarm, you'll need to get a new alarm ECU and remotes, or find a used alarm ECU with remotes already programmed to it. You cannot buy a remote and have it programmed to your car without having at least one existing remote.
Good luck!
